Halifax based Todd V. Yeadon has been involved in the New Media Industry since the early 1990's and is widely recognized in his field as a leader, innovator, educator and participant in the growing Atlantic Canadian New Media market. Some of the recognition for Todd's work has come in the form of an Honourable Mention and a Best of Show Award at the Baddeck International New Media Festival. Todd was also nominated as Web Designer of the Year (2002) by the Music Industry Association of Nova Scotia.

Todd is very active in the entertainment and new media, design and arts communities in numerous capacities. Some of the more notable are former Vice President and Director of Film and New Media for the Music Industry Association of Nova Scotia (MIANS), Chair of the Halifax Adobe Users Group, and past member of the Nova Scotia Community College's Sound Film and New Media Advisory Board.

In 2005 Todd was asked to join the Multimedia Advisory Committee for Holland College in Charlottetown, PE.

In March of 2006, Todd was acclaimed as Vice President for the Atlantic Chapter of the Society of Graphic Designers (www.gdc.net), becoming interim Co-Chair in 2007. A professional body for graphic designers furthering the education of the community towards graphic design and strengthening the members through support, networking and accreditation.

In 2005 Todd was asked to join the Multimedia Advisory Committee for Holland College in Charlottetown, PE.

Todd also had his own production company textureweb new media which he ran from 1995 - 2006 delivering top notch service to his clients including Scotian Wind Fields, Acorn Annuity, i-fax.com, CBC Television, Halifax Regional Municipality and infointeractive.

Todd has personally developed over 25 major New Media Properties in the Atlantic region and many major national and international properties –including local and regional community portals (MTT Sympatico and MTT MediaPipe), preliterate children’s content (PBS Kids site for Theodore Tugboat) and, innovative sponsor developed solutions for the entertainment market (East Coast Music Awards 2001, Neptune Theatre and others), complex and multi layered community sites. Combined, Todd’s work has generated over 30 million individual sessions to date.

Currently Todd is on staff with a high end integration agency - Allura; after a bout of freelancing. Todd took to freelancing after a career side step at Halifax based SportsDirect working on various media related properties including advertising development for banner and rich media ads for large scale networks, as well as designing the corporate and pokerfan.com properties for them.

Before SDI, Todd worked with Innovacorp, first as a product manager for a client company that specialized in online SME advice, then as the lead on an advanced multi access/function corporate site for Innovacorp itself (since rebranded and rebuilt). Todd also worked with a client of Innovacorp, Winstorm. As Art Director for Winstorm Presents Inc., contributed to the proucts that included dynamic presentations and various media advertising.

Before Winstorm, Todd was responsible for integrating new media with in-house television productions and programs at Cochran Entertainment in Halifax. Todd was also responsible for funding submissions, New Media property and project management. Todd built a new website for Theodore not only for theodoretugboat.com but also a new site for PBS.

Previous to Cochran, Todd was Creative Director at njects Atlantic office where he oversaw staff and development, realized a platinum sponsorship deal with ECMA and provided numerous key solutions with nject’s client base.

From 1996 until 2000, Todd was at MTT/Aliant, where he provided online presences to over 20 non profit organizations and associations managed the MTT Consumer intranet, participated in building the corporate web strategy and had design approval on the corporate website. Todd was also the executive producer for MTT Sympatico and participated on the national content strategy team for Sympatico, worked with marketing and communications to provide marketing and messaging needs for Telco products and contributed heavily to product solutions for the Telco. Todd also contributed solutions on numerous occasions that were utilized nationally by the Sympatico network.

Todd is well educated in team management, project management, and budget fulfillment, having received both experience and certification in these areas. In 2002, Todd secured funding from investment community for two projects worth over $750,000.
