Ole' Gutenburg (the printer not the bad actor) started the idea of multi-print jobs and print has continued to evolve over time to showcase ideas not just in words, but woodcuts, lithographs, sepia tones and vibrant colour and textures. New opportunities such as venues, surfaces and inks allow for an ever increasingly artistic and creative way to market and advertise products, organizations, events and even ideas.

A main use of print, advertising continues to evolve from the early print ads that were more like extended classifieds, to today's plethora of messages.

So too in the evolution, is other corporate collateral. AGM reports, newsletters, product sheets, business cards, sales collateral, training manuals. The list goes on. The paperless office is a myth.

One thing to make sure of in your organization is to have smart, well crafted print materials that shout the message but don't leave the listener hard of hearing.
