Web Strategies

Different from building a site, think of the strategy as a white paper or working plan on which you can then go forward with your plan for your online presence. Do you need a site? Does your current model work or is it one that is dated or out-grown. What do you want the site to do for you, what other functions does the site do - connect you directly with partners, customers, clients?

These are some of the questions that should be asked when preparing a full needs assessment for your online presence for your organization. Too often someone senior identifies a need for a site and before you know it your organization is headlong into a costly expedition with no map to compass the project to meet the aims, needs and obligations it is required to give for success.

Good online presence starts not with snazzy skip intro's or cool graphics from the kid down the street. It starts with proper planning. You wouldn't buy a case of Bavarian bananas without checking them out first, so get a review started before you engage the actual production work.
